Three has regularly delivered the fastest mobile broadband speeds in the UK and is only likely to improve given the recent merger with Vodafone.
Three offer a comprehensive range of mobile broadband devices, including mobile Wi-Fi dongles and broadband routers.
Mobile broadband is a product very much worth considering in a number of circumstances:
Many areas still have poor fixed-line broadband and could achieve better performance from mobile broadband. If that is you then you should consider mobile broadband as a viable superior alternative.
Mobile broadband is great if you move around a lot as you have something ready to connect whereever you go. All you need is mobile coverage and internet is always at your side.
Most fixed broadband requires a long contract, which isn't ideal for those in temporary accomidation or looking for a short-term solution. Mobile broadband is a viable option as you can choose 1-month contracts, giving you the flexibility you require.
The majority of fixed broadband deals require you to have a landline and to wait an engineer visit. Mobile broadband devices don't have such ties and are simple plug-and-play devices.

Three have got two Mobile Wi-Fi dongles to choose from with the Three 5G MiFi dongle being the superior model due to support for 5G networks. Not only does it support faster speeds up to 2.63Gbps (compared to 300Mbps), but it also support for a the newer Wi-Fi 6 (compared to WiFi 5). Both deliver up to 8 hours usage from a single charge and can connect up to 32 devices at the same time.
There is also a choice of two broadband routers, the 5G-enabled Three 5G Broadband hub, or the 4G-ready Three 4G Broadband hub. Strangely, the latest version of the Three 4G Broadband Hub also supports 4G meaning there is very little to choose between the two products in terms of speeds and Wi-Fi performance.

Three themselves claim average mobile broadband speeds of 150Mbps, which is more than enough for the average user.
However, it looks as though they've been a little modest because OFCOM's Mobile Network Expierence report showed average 5G speeds of 187Mbps. That's the fastest of any network and significanlty infront of Vodafone who came in second place with average 5G speeds of 130.9Mbps. Three also won when it came to average upload speeds with a figure of 20.2Mbps.
These are really great speeds and we'd only expect them to continue improving given their recent network merger with Vodafone .
